More matzevot at our Jewish cemetery have been renovated

Intensive work is underway to renovate the gravestones at the Jewish cemetery in Mszana Dolna. More matzevot are being cleaned, subjected to a special ‘treatment’ by the conservation team, glued and preserved.

There is still a long way to go, but the beautifully refreshed and renovated matzevot are already a sight to behold. The cemetery fence is also becoming more beautiful.

The work is being carried out by KonsArt company of Marek Sawicki from Krakow. And the renovation of the fence, on the other hand, is being done by the local company Milbart of Mr Piotr Krzysztofiak.

The work is possible thanks to funding obtained by us in cooperation with the authorities of the town of Mszana Dolna, from the Government Programme for the Restoration of Monuments.

Funded by the Government Programme for the Restoration of Monuments.
