Literary workshop with writer Patricia Dołowy

We would like to invite you to the first of the summer meetings of the 2nd edition of our "Tales of Bicultural, Pre-War Mszana Dolna". This time a real treat: a literary workshop with writer Patrycja Dolowy! Under professional guidance, we will try our hand at creating our own stories, based on local history!

We already hosted Patrycja last spring, at an author's meeting, but let us remind you: she is a writer, photographer, multimedia artist, author of plays, essays, articles, popularizer of science and art, socio-cultural activist, current director of the JCC Warsaw, member of the board of the BioEducation Foundation, lecturer at the Faculty of Artes Liberales of the University of Warsaw, member of the presidium of the Council for the Propagation of Science of the Polish Academy of Sciences, from 2015-2020 president of the Polish Association of Scientific Journalists Naukowi. pl, doctor of natural sciences.

Patrycja Dolowy is the author of the books: "Treasures. Seekers and Guardians of Jewish Memory" (Czarne Publishing House, 2022), "I'll be back when you're asleep. Conversations with Children of the Holocaust" (published by Czarne, 2019, co-author of the recently published: "A Question of Character. Female fighters from the Warsaw Ghetto" (published by Czarne, 2023), "Please Speak On. A Social History of the Museum of Art in Lodz" (published by MS£, 2022, with Olga Drenda, Olga Gitkiewicz, Marta Madejska and Marcin Wicha), "After all, I won't leave them. On Jewish caregivers during the war" (published by Czarne, 2018).

During the meeting, which: NOTE! will be held in the Meeting Room of the Town Hall, not the Library (!) there will be an opportunity to get the above mentioned books autographed/dedicated by the Author!

We invite all interested parties, residents and vacationers, on 26.07.2023 at 17:00 to the City Hall in Mszana Dolna, 2 Pilsudskiego St. Honorary patronage of the event is assumed by Mrs. Mayor Anna Pękała.
