We have published a monograph about the Jewish cemetery in Mszana Dolna!

On 20.10.2022 in the Town Library in Mszana Dolna there will be a promotion of a monograph published by us about the Jewish cemetery in Mszana Dolna. This is the first bilingual: Polish-English study on the subject. It contains a catalog of all surviving matzevot with translations of Hebrew inscriptions into Polish and English. The author of the substantive part is Jolanta Kruszniewska, a doctoral student at the Institute of Judaic Studies of the Jagiellonian University in Cracow. The introduction and an additional chapter on the new matzeva at the cemetery, which commemorates the Holocaust victims buried at the cemetery, were written by Urszula Antosz-Rekucka. The whole book was translated into English by Jagiellonian University doctoral students Rachela Antosz-Rekucka and Jakub Antosz-Rekucki. Polish proofreading was done by Kinga Antosz. The substantive reviewer is Hebraist, Ms. Ewa Gordon.
