Visit by representatives of the Limanowa County Council to the Jewish cemetery in Mszana Dolna

On 20 November 2025, the representatives of the Limanowa County Culture Committee visited our Jewish cemetery. The committee examined the renovated site - this work was co-financed by the Limanowa County Office, among others. The councillors were impressed by the changes, showed great interest and even demonstrated knowledge of Jewish practices. We submitted another application to the county authorities for the renovation of the remaining matzevot. Even one renovated gravestone is an important step forward in saving our historic necropolis. About 20 more matzevot are still waiting for their chance.
