Day of Remembrance for the Victims and Heroes of the Holocaust

On the Day of the Remembrance for the Victims and Heroes
of the Holocaust, celebrated on the anniversary
of the outbreak of the Warsaw Ghetto Uprising (according to
the Jewish calendar, state ceremonies are held in Israel
and many countries around the world.
We also visited all three grave places
of the victims of the Holocaust in Mszana Dolna,
lit candles and said El mole rachmim.
Apart from that, we took part in the nationwide project                                                                                                                                                 "Not Forgotten" organized by the Galicia Jewish Museum                                                                                                                                          in Krakow, in cooperation with the Yad Vaszem Institute in                                                                                                                                          Jerusalem and the Auschwitz-Birkenau Museum.

The idea was recording short films to commemorate                                                                                                                                                the local Victims – clips from over 60 places in Poland                                                                                                                                                were combined together and broadcasted
at 12:00 at Yom HaShoah on April 8 this year.
The part from Mszana Dolna is around the 17th minute
of the recording.
