About the Righteous and caring for the Jewish cemetery in local schools

The first half of November was marked by educational meetings in schools. With our project about the Righteous Among the Nations from Mszana, we visited Primary School No. 1 in Mszana Dolna (7 November 2025) the Educational Complex No. 2 in Mszana Dolna (13 November 2025) and the School and Kindergarten Complex No. 1 in Kasina Wielka (14 November 2025). At all schools, we also talked about the Jewish cemetery and our latest publication, ‘Tales of the Tombstone Lion’. The pupils had the opportunity to learn about the heroism of Stefania and Józef Wacławik and the fate of Mosze Jered, whom they saved. They also learned about the symbolism of Jewish tombstones and the history of our cemetery.
We would like to thank the headteachers, Ms Hanna Górska, Ms Bogusława Cieżak and Mr Józef Nowak, as well as the teachers, for inviting us to the schools.
